Dr Victoria Choi

Dr Victoria Choi is a senior acupuncturist and research fellow at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, and a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney. She specialises in integrative oncology, using acupuncture to help manage symptoms and side effects of cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation. Her research focuses on the mechanistic effects of acupuncture in oncology and health services research. Victoria is the principal investigator of a clinical trial exploring electroacupuncture for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). Her goal is to better understand the underlying mechanisms of CIPN and develop effective acupuncture protocols to improve the quality of life for cancer patients.
