As an Executive Director, Tamara’s expertise spans across the government sectors, initially as a senior social worker in community and healthcare, to management and specialist advisory roles, before moving to executive strategic leadership.

Tamara has instigated innovations and designed strategies to ensure my business stays in-front. Although her experiences spans multiple government agencies and functions, they all have the unifying element of driving meaningful change that support future growth and drives business outcomes.

Currently the Director of Future Workforce, within the NSW Ministry of Health. NSW Health is one of the largest public sectors in Australia, with a complex environment, made up of 17 local health districts, pillars and speciality health networks, and more than 120,000 FTE.

Tamara leads a program of work that is future proofing the healthcare workforce in NSW through sustainable and innovative strategy. Making data driven, evidence and stakeholder engaged decisions, her core focus areas for the NSW Health System, include: designing system wide strategy, stakeholder influence, policy development and evaluative appraisals and critical analysis.
