Dr Hiromichi (Hiro) Matsuoka, M.D. Ph.D. is a Japanese palliative care physician/researcher and Psycho-oncologist. He is Chair of J-SUPPORT (Japan Supportive, Palliative and Psychosocial Oncology Group), and the Chief of the Department of Psycho-Oncology, Palliative and Supportive Care Development Division at the National Cancer Center Hospital in Tokyo. Dr Matsuoka has a passion for psycho-oncology research and entered the practice to collaborate with like-minded colleagues to benefit people with cancer and their families.
